You can order from Astronz by:
Items that are in stock are normally shipped within 48 hours of receiving your order. Typically allow 1- 3 days for delivery.
Small items are shipped by ParcelPost Courier and medium sized items are shipped by ParcelPost Tracked.
Larger items (such as telescopes and mounts) are shipped by truck. Please note that telescopes are often large and bulky and shipping is charged by size not weight. There may be a surcharge for deliveries to residentail addresses for these larger items. Pickup can be arranged from our freighters local depot.
At this time we only ship orders within New Zealand.
Astronz is based in Torbay on Auckland's North Shore. You can pick up your order from our showroom, at no charge, or arrange a pick up from one of the weekly Auckland Astronomical Society meetings.

All prices are quoted inclusive of Goods & Services Tax (GST) at 15%.
All Astronz products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the original purchase date. If you should experience a problem with any Astronz product, please contact us (www.astronomy.co.nz/shop/contactus.aspx). In many cases, problems can be diagnosed and corrected without sending the product back to us. If the product must be returned for repair or replacement, we will issue a Return Authorisation. The warranty will be voided on items that have been altered or damaged by the buyer.
Our system is constantly updated and we strive to maintain an accurate listing of products for sale. However sometimes we run out of specific products. Any items that are found temporarily out of stock will be placed on back-order and shipped to you as soon as we receive shipment from our suppliers. The wait period varies depending on supplier shipments. You have the option of canceling any back-ordered items without incurring a cancellation fee at any time. All back-ordered products will be shipped in the order they are received.
You may cancel your order at any time before it is shipped at no charge.
Determining the compatibility of components or their fitness for their intended use is the responsibility of the buyer. If you have questions about the usability of any accessories with your telescope, we recommend you contact us to confirm compatibility before ordering.
We do not accept returns on indent items, special orders, closeouts, books, star charts or opened software.
No returns will be accepted without prior authorisation and none will be accepted more than 14 days after the original shipment of the merchandise. Factory defects are covered by the terms of the manufacturer's warranties and can only be exchanged for identical equipment.
We cannot exchange items unless they are defective or damaged. Items that are returned more than 14 days after shipment, are in unsalable condition, or are missing parts (including packaging) may be returned at our discretion and you may be charged a restocking fee.
We cannot accept items returned more than 30 days after issue of an Returns Authorisation.
Shipping damage must be reported to the delivery company within 48 hours of delivery for a claim for replacement to be accepted. If you experience a problem with the freight company handling your damage claim, please contact us.
We will notify you via email of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. If the original payment was by credit card your card will be refunded, otherwise the refund will be by direct credit. You can expect the refund within 10 business days of our receiving your return. If your return is not due to our error, we will deduct the shipping costs from your refund.
We respect your privacy. Any and all information collected on this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, disclosed, or loaned! Any information you give to us will be held with the utmost care and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to.
